*I'm BaaAacK!!* =p

YoyoZ...I'm back from Bangkok and ready to drive again! LoLz...Juz itching to get myself into the Initial D machines again...The trip really rocKed...except for some occasions where things got kinda shaky (shouldn't elaborate on that though..) The first and second days were the most tiring lorZ...first dae practice at a school until at nite around 10 plus den went back to the hotel. The people there are really friendly! Especially the 20 pupils who came to see us ( I only noticed around 5 or 6 hanging around us all the time though). FarHaN taught this young primary snare drummer how to roll smoothly. He and a friend seemed really impressed when FarhaN and I played the snare on the 2 songs... Man the marching instruments were at full capaciTy...20 plus side drums, 10 plus bass drums and 3 tri-toms...as for the mallet percussion I have *noeyedeer* =p By the way I got to see both SPF(those who didnt go with us) and PY members at the Changi Airport to send us off. Plus mrs nG was there to give us her support and a speech before we went into the departure hall. Then everyone was takin pictures of us...like some unofficial press conference...LoLz Yes, she was there too! DidnT tie up her hair so it flowed down to her shoulders (chio bu! =p) Took a pic with her...den went back to my group and they all dee siao me...LoLz..

Second day was of course the competition, and the performance in the morning. I can tell u morale in the percussion section was pretty lousy in the morning at the school. Got scolding by mr poh cuz I didnt lock on the snare for Suite and the others didnt play up to standard. Felt really lousy that time. But seeing *her* face brightened me up straight away...I dunno why, but I'm getting that tingling feeling in my stomach again...HahaZ. The first and second days involved alot of walking and carrying our instruments from place to place. Going into the school was a complete pain. The percussion instruments were difficult to handle and whats more we had to walk for like 10 minutes to get inside. I then realized that SyaFiq had a phobia for DOGS!! hahahaz.. COMPETITION TIME! Luckily I locked the snare in place before mr poh started. He had warned me before that if I forgot to do so I'd be dead...all the songs went quite well. I really felt that we were at our peak. Actually it could've been much better cuz the percussion instruments sounded like sh*T (the ones they provided us with). Especially the bells...so *echo-ey* I felt like i was spoiling the whole song... After the entire competition was over we heard the results...NONE of the Singaporean schools got into the Finals...LoLz...the Thai bands and the HKI band were too much competition for the singporean bands I guess. They were really very very very good...and they proved that fact to us at the Thai Cultural Centre (getting that tingling feeling again!) during the Final round on Friday.

The other days were all fun and play, lots of shopping too. Although I didnt buy much during the shopping trips. Most of the shopping excursions were greeted with *haiz* and *wah Lau* when they were announced. It was as if we were shopping EVERYDAY. So sian LorZ... (HeHeZ...bought all my christmas presents le...can't wait to give them out!!) Dreamworld was kind of a bust. Although it was really fun for all of us, it only had one roller coaster. I was in the front seat with a video cam to film the entire track. Mr poh was right beside me as I captured the footage. I don't seem impressed with it myself. I could've done better, but don't expect me to take it over and over again...LoLz..

The last day was at carrefour where we had our lunch (1 hour after breakfast!?!?). esTheR saw this watch in a shop nearby the food court. She seemed to really like it, so I bought it for her! (I had too much baht on my hands anyway. Changing all of it back would result in a big loss...erm....this is NOT an excuse. =p) That would be her birthdae present for this year! Hmmm...It seems that I keep changing my plans as to how I would give out my presents. Somehow last night I managed to finalize the plan...hope it works out. Returned to S'pore at around 8 at nite. Our aircraft was delayed cuz of the traffic jam on the runway. So was my mum, but too bad she didn't wait for me at the airport later on when she arrived. I had to go back to SPF anyway to deposit the instruments, den CY's dad (in fact his whole family) sent me home in his car....WaH...very long lehz...ppL see sure eye pain...I end here lorz. Not a very detailed *tour*, but it'll do...HahaZ....byebyez!
